Thank you!
Good video, but gosh, stop the fillers in your lips, it looks pretty awful and unnatural.
At 3.11 you had me! I am now going to look at all your videos and wanting more. Very detailed, thank you!!
What primer should I use for cushion foundation?
Wow thank you so much for this. I realized my skin type has changed over the years and this is super helpful for me to see how I should change my makeup application
I’m inclined to believe foundation isn’t necessary on 90% of people.
Do you have a video on getting the crease lines under the eyes to stop! My makeup creases under my eyes no matter what! Cream, serums, avoiding the area directly with concealer.. it still gets there and then creases.
3:36 she did not just read jojoba as hoehoeba
Amazing video thank you!!
Thank you so much <3
Help😢 I wanna use RMCA liquid foundation.. but it is oil-based and i can’t find any oil-based primer.. Please anyone recommend me some.. Does it even exist ?? I CANT FIND IT this make me cant sleep at night
Moisturizer, then Walmart Equate chafing gel for primer.
Makeup lasts all day even on oily skin. You’re welcome
Very useful tips. Thank you.
Wow! First time viewing your video, and I must say that this is what I have been searching for a long long long time!! You gained a subscriber
What about a setting SPRAY? Is that better than a powder?
I had to stop the video to comment that this video is f***** awesome , so much educational content all packed into one vide, that I haven’t received in so many paid courses! I dont think anyone understands or has explained foundation as well as you have in this video! You are awesome!
Wow, this helped me so much! I took so much notes! As a mua I’ve been really frustrated lately with my makeup applications on clients. Hopefully when I implement this tips I can see a difference! 🤞🏾
Omg you did the perfect lesson I had in makeup! Thanksss ❤❤❤
I use Double Wear. I have an obvious flat vein in my face near my jawline. Can I use the Derma blend in that area without conflict with the Double Wear?
What sponge do you recommend for the powder on your nose?
I have dry mature skin and am currently using Makeup Forever HD but not sure if it working for me but it could be because I have the wrong primer (from what I’ve learned the last two days whilst searching). Also what do you think about Gerda Spillman foundation for older (64 years) skin. It seems to eventuate and go in my pores but this could be because not using correct primer. Oh and I tried Laura Mercier Flawless and had to return it. I could barely apply it to my dry skin! Thankfully Sephora accepts returns!
Idk why, but 4 the first time ever in my life recently ive had the issue w my makeup cracking/seperating…& looking well, bad. Ive assumed its related to getting older, but, it could be some of the issues spoken of here. Bc i do constantly change makeup brands, primers, applicators.
I do get the full coverage, done that right.
Would be cool if i could find a STAPLE foundation. Used to but they always get discontinued. Prefer cream compacts…however theyre hard 2 come by nowadays.
Btw never heard of the baking technique. Wtf is that
Where has this video been my whole life??? This was so eye opening! Thank you so much.
What primer is she using
This video has changed everything. Im not someone who wears makeup often but with me getting married next year I need to find the right products for me. This video has been eye opening, its fantastic. Thankyou so so much for making it so understandable!!
What primer do you use can see the label.
Whoa. When i was watching the clip of you prepping your skin i was thinking to myself "she doesn’t need makeup at all!" Your skin is amazing!
Very informative thank you!
Thank you. This was so educational!!!
I bought the il makiage and it looks just like the picture. False advertisement 😢
I have skin that’s neither dry nor oily. I do get some acne though, and some areas are a little on the dry side especially in my T zone, but nothing extreme in either direction. That is unless I use terrible skincare, then I get really dry and flaky, plus worse acne. So I’d say that I’ve combination skin in the sense that’s it’s both acne and dry-ish, but no part of me is oily, no. But I mean I’ve found a good skincare routine now with sufficient moisture and acne treatment (obviously also cleanser, serums and I do also scrub once a week) so my skin is all good, or at least as good as it can be.
Except when I put on foundation, it easily gets patchy or cakey. I do have silicone based foundation in a satin finish that says it’s supposed to be especially good for combination and dry skin. It’s not super thick but also not runny, and is medium coverage. Which seems like it’s what I should be wearing with my skintype? And I mean it does feel nice on my skin, neither crusty dry nor greasy. It’s from the brand Isadora btw.
I do kinda wanna avoid dewy foundations because I have very textured skin and don’t wanna highlight that with a ton of glow. But yeah, matte foundations do tend to dry me out too much. So I do like the satin finish. I also combine it with a silicone primer especially where I have large pores or a lot of texture, to try to get the foundation to look better on those areas. I apply both with a sponge that I dab on because any kinda rubbing usually just makes me flaky.
So it feels like I’m doing everything right, but maybe I am guilty of putting on a too thick layer foundation and then adding too much powder. I try to use only a small amount, but I keep needing to add more to make it stop being sticky. I can’t really get with setting sprays (probably just haven’t found any good ones) and I do need something to make my hair stop sticking to my face in the wind lol. I just can’t handle the sticky feeling. So I’m just not sure how I’m supposed to make the foundation non-sticky throughout the day without caking it up. It feels like a dilemma at this point!
Wow! Thank you for the AMAZING tips! It’s like how to wear a good foundation 101. You just saved my makeup looks 🥹🫶🏻
I have dry mature skin and am currently using Makeup Forever HD but not sure if its working for me but it could be because I have the wrong primer (from what I’ve learned the last two days whilst searching), I have MILK hydrogrip-I think have figured out it’s completely wrong primer for silicone based foundation. Also what do you think about Gerda Spillman foundation for older (64 years) skin. It seems to eventuate and go in my pores but this could be because not using correct primer. Oh and I tried Laura Mercier Flawless and had to return it. I could barely apply it to my dry skin, it was so difficult to apply! Thankfully Sephora accepts returns!
I have Rosacea and am currently using an metronidazole gel. I tried Clinique’s Rosacea foundation and the Rosacea primer and it looked absolutely awful. I returned the products. It made my skin look more dry- I could see all the dry skin cells. And I have acne Rosacea so, my skin is very bumpy and textured and the makeup appeared very cakey- especially when smiling, and it highlighted every single imperfection and seemed to magnify the very many bumps, poors, and dry skin cells, and it made me look very pale because of the green primer.
Your bare skin is STUNNING!!!!!!!!
what type of primer & setting spray do you need with a silicone based foundation for extremely dry/flaky skin?
I really respect your teaching, very informative, cleared all my doubts, only one question I want to clear that if I have dry skin then which primer I should use -silicone or water based primer or milk based primer. Please clear this..
Foundation is a struggle for me. I have sensory issues, so I can’t stand how things feel on my skin. Plus, I am over 40 with large pores and combination skin😢
thank you so much!!! you just saved my life 🥹🥹❤ but i want to ask something if my primer, foundation, and concealer is water based but i want to use loose powder/compact powder that’s silicone based does it affect my maekup?? or its safe and doesn’t separate??? (thank you in advance) 🙏🏻
I’m struggling and this is information overload. Sooo I know I need a new moisturizer right now I started trying a new one like 2 months ago and I’m not happy with it at all! I may just go back to Honest Beauty because I can’t find anything else that works so well.. but what I am hearing is I need an oil based dewy finish foundation & moisturizer?? I have had NARS long wear it’s been out of stock so I was going to try the new one which you showed. Can you help me with primer suggestions & moisturizer suggestions? Could my other products that I apply at night be playing a part in my foundation looking bad lately?? And I’m sorry what was the recommendation for application for that foundation? A brush?? If so, what kind? I tried brushes a while ago and it was so streaky.. I have no idea what type of brush for foundation!
You look so much prettier and younger without the foundation ❤. Great video
Amazing thank you!!
What about setting sprays? Are they also water based and silicone? And thanks for explaining Viscosity
I’m allergic to silicone. 😢
Love this video
Amazing tutorial, i have big pores around my nose, i really take care of my skin, but my foundation never looks good around my nose area, what powder did you use to set the foundation
I feel like a genius after watching this
Omg is she ever hyped! DANG!
You are SO good at explaining things!!
No joke I used this video to learn how to tell my puppy to cut it out. Worked perfectly.
